Right brain v. Left brain test - spinning dancer

I clearly see this dancer spinning clockwise, which means I'm right brained. Evidently I'm not very logical oriented. Ha. That explains everything. My Brother sees it spinning counterclockwise and my friend sees it sometimes spinning one way, sometimes the other.

Clockwise.

I have a terrible time seeing it any other way. ATM I'm not even convinced it's possible.

Ah; got it. Yeah, I can do both at will now. I had to focus on the feet and the shadow before I could do it.

LOL, this explains a lot. You are fantasy based, not reality based.

(just razzing you Nielsio)

my default is clockwise, but i can generally control which way she goes. i don't think i'm very right-brained.

I first saw her going clockwise, but like the others I could also see it change and go counter-clockwise.

I'm also not truly left or right handed, but I'm not ambidexterous either. Some things I do left-handed and other things right handed.

I'm also sometimes right brained and sometimes left brained.

Damn it, I can't make her go counterclockwise.

[/ QUOTE ] Yes, I can control it now too, by looking at the shadows on the ice. I'm wondering if anyone here defaults to counterclockwise?

I didn't scroll down far enough to see the shadows. I just "freezed" her for a second and then she went the other direction...

I can now see her going both ways pretty easily, but I'm more inclined to see her going clockwiese. Interesting, because the first time I ever saw it she was moving counter-clockwise, but switched when I diverted my eyes. It took a long time before I could get her going counter-clockwise again.

For those having trouble, the key is to focus on the shadow and when it disappears, imagine it coming back around in the direction you want.
