10/20 SH TPGK w/ flush draw

So villain likes to shoot multiple barrels, so i just call the flop and turn to get him to bluff again. Is the river push too thin? The game has been pretty aggressive.

I like pushing the turn more, although given how you got to the river, how aggressive villian is, and the perfect blank river card, a push is good. The reason I prefer to push the turn is that villian may have alot of outs on your hand, if you are behind you can always draw out your flush and if he has a hand like KJ / K10 he may call but the river getting ugly 4 straighting might kill your action.

JMa,

Because he is aggressive and likes to fire barrells, I can't see Villain checking river with any kind of hand that beats your hand (i.e. he wouldn't check AK, boat). Also, the way you played it, it looks like you were on some sort of drawing hand that missed, so a river push is fine becuase all sorts of worse hands will call.

Why?

I think shoving river is good

Raising either flop or turn is bad, you played those streets well. I do think riverpush is definitely to thin tho, lots of players just check AK here to try to catch you riding dirty, and by pushing I think you risk only getting called by that. I'd prefer a bet of 499.

Can you explain why raising the flop is bad? It's kind of standard for me to raise here with the flush draw but I wouldn't without it (I have no idea why I do this particularly, that's why I'm asking for an explanation)

You raise here with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] here right? Is it just because we have TPGK and don't want to "spoil" that showdown value by semibluffing why we don't raise here?

I cant think of many people who I'd play differently from pf through to the turn, but I do think the river is too player dependent to really say. It's definitely on the thin side, but you knew that. I do think a smaller bet would work better against most people, but that a push could be right against some players.

You will get better advice if you just tell us who Villian is.
