BAR/BRI Law School Prep / Law Preview?

Has anyone taken either the BAR/BRI Law School Prep program or the Law Preview program?

Were these any good? Worth the money? Waste of time?

Its a joke. You don;t need to prep for law school. You don;t even really need to attend classes after the first semester either.

Misfire you got into a top 14 right?

If so then I see no way these overpriced scams could help you. Just be like me and be ready for no life in < 3 months.

I just finished 1L and got good grades (first semester at least, still waiting on second)

There is absolutely no need for this.

What there is a need for is relaxing, hanging out with your friends, and sitting on the beach drinking coronas....cause once school starts you won't have a ton of free time.

If you really feel compelled to do something, read "Getting to Maybe" or one of those books, or pick up an examples and explanation book for a class you have and flip through it.

Really no need though.

I think I would laugh at anyone who took one of these.

It's probably not worth it. Honestly, people make a fuss out of briefing, but it's soemthing you learn for yourself. It's shorthand for you to remember holdings of cases, and your first year classes will tell you how to do it, but it should eventually become it's own thing.
