OESFD+Pair, Totally Lost, 1/2

Villian is BB, 21/8/1.1 over 61 hands. This is the first time I tangle with him.

100BB effective.

CO and button limps, I complete in SB with QsJs, BB checks. I lead 6 into QcTs9s $8 flop, BB raises to 26, CO/button folds, action back to me...

Easy push? Folding seems weak, calling is bad as I don't have position and have no idea where I am at even if I hit, and it is very unlikely that I would be paid off unless I am beat.

Board: Ts 9s Qc
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 44.263% 39.15% 05.12% 274708 35900.50 { QsJs }
Hand 1: 55.737% 50.62% 05.12% 355226 35900.50 { TT-99, KJo, J8o }

This is the tightest range I can think of and I still have 44% equity. Against all other draws I am a favourite against.

I pushed, which is about a 2.5x pot reraise. Would you guys have pushed too? what if its 150BB? 200BB?

I think your push is correct, his range is much wider than this and he you have a great hand.

Reraising and calling a push is fine aswell, would take really hypothetical situations with >1000bb for me to fold this HU on the flop.

You have a very good draw here and the range you put him on is very tight and you can easy throw in some more hands. If he always has a set here its pretty much still a coin flip. And his range is for sure wider than that.

Pretty awkward stack sizes, but I think a push is the best option here. If you make a smaller raise you're still going to be committed, but you'd rather get it in now with 2 cards to come. i wouldn't discount NFD and 2 pair type hands from his range and 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is also a possibility.

Thanks for the response. Seems like the consensus is to push. Villain called and showed KJo for the nut straight, and I hit my straight flush. I was berated of course.

I guess the main question is what to do if stacks are deeper.

Its kind of a meh spot tbh. 3betting the flop is ok since we have soo much equity vs like anything, but he isn't folding that much tbh given the action and his stats so we're usually getting it in as a slight dog. However if we just call then most of our outs are really obvious and I can't see us getting payed by many hands atall in his range from the flop raise.
