Yet Another Caz Post

1.) The search function is not my friend.

2.) I'm interviewing for a job in Phoenix and was wondering

a.) where CAZ is in relation to Phoenix.

b.) Where to stay that is cheap so I can both go to CAZ and interview; and

c.) How often/what hours the $20-$40 hold'em or stud games run?

d.) a website for it-- http://www.casinoaz.com/locations.asp why are there 2 locations?

Thanks all.

The CAZ poker room is at Indian Bend road and the 101 (Pima) freeway. It is located about 10 miles NE of Sky Harbor airport. 202 freeway east to the 101 , 101 north to Indian Bend. There are two casinos but only the one at Indian Bend road has poker. The 20-40 holdum goes 20 hours a day starting about 9:00 am. I dont know about hotels.

You'll want to stay in the East Valley to be close to CAZ. Luckily, this is the off-season so a bit of googling ought to find something for you in Tempe, Mesa or maybe even Scottsdale.

As was said the 20 HE goes from around 10-11am to (let's say) 5am during the week and usually 24 hours on the weekend except a lot of players are up in LV for the WSOP so that may not hold so true now.

The 20 stud game died out 5 years ago. There was one going a few days ago to my big surprise.

I hope you enjoy your stay in our current 100+ degree paradise.

In OOT you would get a star for this starting this thread, posting things that you could figure out on your own by using Google or by calling Casino Arizona is not cool. 2+2 is not the lazy man's phone Google.
