You've got 8 outs, an outside straight draw. An easy fold to a pot bet.

Re: AA preflop Raiser, Hero?

This is an easy fold made moreso by the fact that you are shortstacked. You have 8 outs and practically nothing behind, so you are getting, what, 1.4:1 max implied odds on your 2.2:1 dog. Dump it.

Only if the stacks are ridiculously deep is it worth even considering a call. And re-up to a full stack next time.

if you were going to play, you should have bet the flop yorself.

calling is a mistake- 8 outs and you might only get half if you make it

Playing that short its a debatable preflop call to. If you want to short stack, read Rolfs book.

thanks for the comments.

i checked the flop to c/r all-in when he bets 1/3 Pot or so. After a short decision on the flop i raised AI with my implied odds.

implied odds you have, if can win on the 4th and 5th street additional money if you hit your draw.

So with your push you have no more implied odds. And with your short stack you have neither fold equity and nor implied odds if you call.

So fold your weak draw and wait for a better spot to shove.

See my post above. On a call, you have at most 1.4:1 implied odds and are a 2.2:1 dog. On a shove, you have zero implied odds because you have NOTHING behind and therefore nothing more to win.

1. Look up "implied odds" on the internet. I'm sure you can find a definition somewhere.

2. If CO's "ultra-tight", your best chance of getting him to fold is to lead for the pot. You're nowhere near deep enough to go for a C/R here.
