First time in 2007? 1/2NL

Haven't folded KK preflop all year. How about this spot?

UTG is a 16/9 nit, and button is a 18/10 nit.
Both players are passive and nitty.

I've been speeding around.

if getting it in is -EV here its probably by like 2bbs or something insignificant.

18/10's are definitely not 3betting much, and 4 betting like never, so i guess if you have to fold KK pf at least once a year this is an ok time to do it

If both you and UTG are super nitty and CO is an observant player you might have a case here but ..... just stick it in.

As tubasteve said, it doesn't matter much in the long run.

Re: First time in 2007? 1/2NL

yeah. there was a good example of this in the newest sklansky i think. (NLHETP)

there were 2 scenarios assuming 100bb stacks (these arent the exact ones in the book but they serve the same purpose):

1) every time you get dealt AA and there is a person all-in before your action, you fold.

2) every time someone raises in EP, you call OTB with 27o

clearly hand 1 is a much worse play than hand 2 in isolation based on EV, but over the long run situation 2 is going to come up a ridiculous amount of times compared to situation 1, so 2 is really the bigger leak. its common sense when you think about it...you just have to think about it.

What about against this villan who is 27/7/1.
If you know this type of villan, He is 4 betting AA/KK only, and KK only 1/2 the time
