Here\'s a tournament lesson

Player A has about 35,000 chips Player B has about 2000 chips. Blinds are 100/200. Pot starts at 900 with 3 limpers and BB in. Player A bets 500. Player B calls, all others fold, pot is 1900. Turn is checked.

On the river, Player A bet 1300. Player B has 1500 and calls and loses. Player A had flopped a full house. Player B had the nut flush.

So Player B is still in it and doubles up four times in a row then moves tables. I don't know what happened to him after that.

So why on God's green earth did Player A not bet 1500 on the river? Did Player A think 1500 wouldn't get called but 1300 would? That's just nuts (pun intended).

Maybe he was just looking at the pot and sizing the bet to the pot rather than the remaining stack.

ah yeah sometimes you forget to look at the other guy's stack. especially if you have a monster you dont really care how much the other guy's stack is.
