I don't see what hand he could possibly have that would call a river bet

I'd check river behind as played. You get value from KQ and that's it by betting imho.

I'd even let him bluff river by flatcalling turn much of the time.

What's your flop plan if he bets?

I probably fold to the 3-bet pre but its close and I dont mind a call 4-handed.

check river, I like the turn raise and woulda folded to a push.
