Call w/77 in BB, 6 player table

The chip leader raises just over 3xbb and everyone folds to me in the BB w/77. What's your plan? Call/Push/fold?

With the blinds and ante being at 22.5k, my M is 6.

There is 13 left in the tourney that started w/1500+

Shove if you wanna flip. Fold if you dont. He isnt folding much here.

Also, thats not "Just over 3xbb" its a 4bb raise. Also, blinds and antes are at 27,000 leaving you with about and M of 5.

Push>Fold>Call. Actually just leave call of there... don't call. Either push or fold.

Like SB said if you want to flip push if not fold. Since you are <10bb I probably shove.

133,665/12,000 = 11.13875 imo, and I never said call.

Since he is in the BB I'm taking 12k out so... 10.13875. Good enough IMO

Usually at this point in the tourney you should be able to assess range/vpip/af for most of the players. Readless, you have no FE, so a push is a gamble.
Your M is low, but there are lower. With that said, and the payout being steep, the question is, can you win this tourney without taking this gamble?

Calling with the intention to play a stop'n'go is fine here imo.

Pushing is fine too - you should still have some FE and are ahead of CO's range.

Folding is too weak with 77 and your low M.

[x]Shove >> fold because 77 is probably ahead of his {Chip leader & CO} range & there's lots of overlay.
[x]Shove >> Call/evaluate because that's always a horrid line with these stack sizes.
[x]Shove >> SNG because he never folds a hand which was best on the flop so you want the $ in now.
[x]Shove

Re: Call w/77 in BB, 6 player table

Woops, I added up the BB,SB & Ante based on PT. PT shows the SB w/half of the BB AND the Ante. I added another Ante on top of that so each round is 19.5k. The raise was 4x the BB as Step stated...

So my M is ~6.8 or so. (Based just on the BB,SB & Ante) Out of the 13 players left, I'm around 6th in chips. Even though my M is low, about 1/2 of the remaining field is lower than mine.

It's pretty much a coinflip if he has 2 overs, anything above 89 but I'm sure he has ATs+ if he is going to raise 4xbb.

If he has 88+, I'm pretty much an 80% dog. A situation that we pretty much want to avoid.

Hard to lay down 77 with 6 players. Calling would be for 36% of my chips and I'm only going to hit a set 12% of the time.
