Raise more preflop, you're out of position.

Given his stack size and the drawy board, seems like an easy call.

Re: Aces vs All in on Flop

How much would you raise to pre-flop? 50 cents? Even though you want action with aces?

Re: Aces vs All in on Flop

4xbb +1xbb per limper so yeah, at least 50c. You want action but you also want to build the pot/get heads up/build the pot.

You need like 40% equity.... 1.5:1-> 1/(1.5+1)-> 40%

And you have roughly 43%.... play around with the range some, but you can't get it below 40% making any reasonable changes.

Board: 8s Td Js

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 43.885% 42.84% 01.04% 68289 1659.00 { AcAd }
Hand 1: 56.115% 55.07% 01.04% 87783 1659.00 { TT-77, AsQs, AJs, AsTs, As9s, As7s, As6s, As5s, As4s, As3s, As2s, KQs, K9s, Q9s, J8s+, T8s+, 97s+, 7s6s, AJo, KQo, K9o, Q9o, J8o+, T8o+, 97o+ }

So call.

I dought he has a set of jacks, tens, or eights. Most people would open raise on the butten with a pair as big as eights. Only hand he could have that would worry me is queen 9, but I can't see him shoving with the made strait. I think this is an easy call

not a nice flop but yes call, you have the best hand enough of the time to make this call profitable especially since of the big overshove by villain is suspisciouos(flush, straight draw?)

Re: Aces vs All in on Flop

his vpip seems high enough for him to be making this play with hands you would beat, in fact, he looks like a maniac up to this point so that would be enough for me in this situation to call
