I play exactly as seen.. Looks good on all streets. Too many players on teh flop to bet out IMO.

I would raise the river. I expect to find Q8 more often than QQ here. You guys think villain wouldn't play 8Q or 89 the same way here? So, just calling river is bad... he is never folding a FH

QQ, Q8, and 88 play the hand like this (98 if he's spewy).

We beat one of those.

Ok, but there is one 88, three QQ and six Q8. Assuming he plays all these hands the same, which I think most people does, Q8 is much more likely than QQ and 88.

I don't think your analogy is any good. It's very likely that someone holds the A high flush, so we fold. In hold em it's much less likely that people have the nuts, so we play accordingly ...

If we can't shove the river here, we should fold the turn, since the pot is relatively small and villain's hand range hasn't changed between the turn and river.

Snap call for 38bb...Dance if you win, reload if you lose...on to the next hand

I think that calling turn and river is such a terrible line. This is either a fold or raise decision since the pot is very small compared to the total amount of money put in. This is basic poker thinking. I can't believe you're all advocating calling.

This is hilariously wrong.

Why?

Not every hand has to be played for stacks. It's not impossible to go into c/c mode in Omaha. You even used the word "range" in your answer. It's prefectly fine to c/c against someone's range if you think you are ahead of it overall but that a raise will only get action from the very top of it.

As I said I think he will call with his entire range here. People don't fold Q8 here. I am assuming we are not super-deep.

Re: PL100 fullhouse reraised on turn

Dangerous assumption even at these levels.

2QQs, 6 Q8s, 1 88, and 1 89. QQ and 88 snap call all in. 89 will probably fold unless it's a fish. If you really believe all the players at 0.5/1 will call you with Q8 here over 50% of the time (what's needed to make a shove good), you should push here. But if it's a thinking player at all... Q8 is getting tossed well over 50% of the time here, even at 0.5/1 level.

EDIT: Once he potted the river his range also gets tilted toward the upper end of the range so in reality you really need significantly better than 50% chance that he's calling with Q8 to make a raise profitable. In other words, he needs to be a fish.
