NL25 Is this a bad play?

I put him on a lower pair than my 10's because of the preflop and flop calls. I was a little worried he filled up on the turn with his small bet, but I can also see 8's or 6's making that bet. Perhaps my logic is completely wrong, feel free to criticize.

Well since both of you seemed to approve of the play I guess I should reveal the outcome. He ended up having ACES?? and took the pot from me. Not a big deal, but it was definitely one of those hands where I did not know if he just played it that good or I completely missed something in my assessment.

Admittadly, I've seen the results, but once we get to the turn are we commited to getting it in or should we be trying to control the pot size a little?

There's $5-ish in the pot and villain has $12 behind... I guess if we're getting it in then get it in on the turn and don't let villain see the river, but really the only hands we can hope to get called by that we beat are 99 and 88.

I don't like getting 60-ish bb in with just TT. I sure don't expect to see AA or KK here but I think that JJ/QQ are at least as likely as 99/88.

How about lead turn for 1/2 pot and fold if villain shoves. Its not a strong line and you're going to get bluffed off it from time to time, but at this point you've raised pf, raised on the flop, led turn so you've shown villain that you have a hand and if villain shoves he's said "so what, mine's bigger."

Other option is to raise more on flop. 1.50 into a 2.65 pot with another villain behind seems pretty weak. Make it 2.50 to go. Then if you get called by short stack there's basically a 1.5xpot bet left so if villain calls then we're certainly committed. But if we raise and villain now shoves, we should be able to get away.
