What is your calling range in situation like this? Hero is basically calling all his chips.

I prob shove or fold the first time leaning towards shoving and call the push as played.

Well being on the bubble and the action so far, this could very well be a squeeze attempt with a wide range of hands. In that case you should call. OTOH, this guy could just be the type that only looks at his cards and doesn't understand anything else. Without a read, its hard to judge. But, you are below average now. If you win this, you are back in the mix to try to win the whole thing which is always my objective. I would probably call here, but that's just me. It wouldn't be too bad to fold either if you are patient. I guess it depends on how much you like to gamble and if you would be crushed for 3 days if he does show AK.

For the reasons stated here, I called. Villain turned over 77 and I won the race. After the hand just didn't know if I made a good or a bad call.

I like your origional flat call. Now call the shove.

I think vs an "active" open raiser and 27bb with pretty large antes I am 3bet calling preflop

I am calling pre-flop, partially to induce the squeeze. So obv call.
