I shove in a heartbeat and dont even care in the slightest when im shown a hand that beats me severly.

You are a dead player walking. Your M is like 2. I probably would shove here with 78s over a limp. Your game plan isnt to fold your way to one higher spot is it?

Re: Anyone like this push?

Right, my point was just if you arent gonna shove here, the only explanation might be to just sit on the sidelines and hope someone else busts before you do. Your M is very bad, you likely have about 12-18 more hands before you bust, and the pocket 7s have a very good chance of being the best hand you get in that time. Here you have a limper in already in addition to the blinds, and the limpers situation is odd. I have no idea why he would limp here with good holdings, and risk getting busted by miserable carsd that flop hard. A better bet is that he has a hand he wants to see a flop with, would fold if any of the players that have him covered shove, and will call you if you shove due to pot odds.

Just curious tho, was it like JQs or something along those lines where you were marginally ahead on the coinflip?

Nope, with the earlier limper I would rather flat 4 x bb raise and see how the limper reacts. If he has a hand he will let you know.

[sarcasm]Good play.

Then we can bet 1600 on the flop, and fold if we're raised.[/sarcasm]

Easy jam. No brainer. What else are you going to do, wait another 10-12 hands for a better starting hand?
