You might want to inform him of a way that he can explain why he did it. Like Mat or Ryan's email or yours. It's conceivable that he didn't know or the link was somehow redirected.

edit: I'm pretty sure it's a mistake on his part. The same link is one of the top 3 about this story on google news.
