zomg 25NL is EZ....

LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

BTN: $41.87
SB: $48.56
Hero (BB): $35.71
UTG: $29.79

Pre-Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG raises to $1, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.75

Flop: ($2.10) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $1.50, Hero raises to $4.25, UTG calls $2.75

Turn: ($10.60) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)

River: ($26.30) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $16.75, UTG calls $16.69 and is All-In

Results: $59.68 Pot ($1.94 Rake)
Hero showed 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Fours) and WON $57.74 (+$27.95 NET)
UTG mucked K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a pair of Nines) and LOST (-$29.79 NET)

I cashed out lots of my roll last week after playing like a fish so I figured I'd reset and grind it back from microstakes - work hard on improving my postflop play and be a better player in a months time for it.

If people like ^^^^^^ keep throwing money at me I might not be grinding so long...

All you guys out there that are having a tough time of things at 25NL or lower take [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] - you never know when you're going to flop a monstah and stack a moran.

So, doing my November PT review earlier I looked at the stats on the 15 regs I play with most often. I have between 550 and 1400 hands on these guys for the month.

Number of regs with any positional awareness whatsoever: 2*

Absolutely unbelievable. To think I sometimes decline a seat if I see a couple of these guys sitting.

* And I am being generous to one of them whose UTG and MP stats are the same....I've generously put that down to the relatively small sample. Still, it is so, so rare for me to have even a 500 hand session where my position stats are wonky, so perhaps my generosity is misguided.

Stars just announced a sick promotion for tourney players.

Every player finishing in the TLB top 1,000 for December will have an opportunity to win one of four packages to the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo. But the top 100 players will play a tournament for the biggest prize of all – The PokerStars Passport!

The winner of the PokerStars Passport will receive entry into ten big buy-in live tournaments. The journey begins in Dortmund for the EPT German Open in January 2008 and ends at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in January 2009. The passport-holder can select the remaining eight tournaments from the WSOP* Main Event or any stop on the EPT or APPT.

So incredibly awesome, would be such an amazing prize

when you guys put the chance to steal and raised filter on in PT what is you BB/hand? Mine shows 0.44 so I am guessing stealing the blinds makes me 44PTBB? Seems like it should be higher since pokey's post said his was 1.10. I think I am calling too much when ppl threebet me from the blinds.

how often you try to steal? I have been attempting 35% of the time over 22k hands Which I guess is reasonable for someone playing 20/18.

sure. raised pf for value.
on the flop i checked to induce, obv called. I was pretty sure i had the best hand at this point. I planned to c/c the turn because of his constant double barreling regardless of board texture etc. River i was planning on folding to a shove, but he bet fairly small. About 20 hands earlier he got caught bluffing 7 into a 20 pot (king high) to one of the other tags at the table. I decided a bluff was enough of his range to make it profitable. So i called.
