Eh, not so much that, but LSU in their home territory is makes it that much harder. They'd clearly be a favorite, even at a true neutral field--and probably by a bunch, but an effective home game would just be ugly.

If one goes based on what teams did on the field this season, I don't see how they don't choose LSU

sure, they had some close wins...but, their two losses were also 3OTs against bowl teams

They and USC have claims to winning the toughest conferences

LSU has the win over V Tech and the extra game to push them over the top IMO

All this does is justify past bad decisions, like putting VT ahead of LSU to begin with. Let's give voters the benefit of the doubt and allow them to reconsider.

LSU vs. tOSU is pretty much everything that is wrong with college football today.

One team has been ranked #1 twice this season and has failed to live up to the hype.

The other is the Big11Ten champion and hasn't played in like 2 months.

Moving up from #9 or whatever to #2 without playing a single game is ridiculous.
