25NL - general preflop spot with TT

what do you usually do here? in this hand villain is a standard tag pre...about 21/15, cold caller is unknown, this is my 2nd hand at the table

what if UTG is a bit more of a tagfish, like 21/7? does it change?

Calls for set value ... and if he misses then he reads like crazy postflop.

Alternatively you can define your TT to be ahead of UTGs range (which it is) and squezze, tho it sucks if UTG pushes

It's seem like one of those marginal spots where anything goes, but personally I'm a major nit when holding pp's smaller than QQ

call or 3pop are both fine. I'd prob call against 21/7.

In these types of situations I tend to repop when out of position (which usually means the blinds) and smooth call when in the CO or on the button.

I would lean toward raise against the 21/15 and would def. call/setmine against the 21/7.
