AA hand: overpair + OESD + BDNFD

I think I played this hand well, but I'd like to hear opinions on anything and everything EVEN PREFLOP.

I chose to open limp preflop to mix up my play for no particular reason (I'd say that it's about 75% raise, 25% limp for me in this spot with this hand).

.50/1.00 FT 6max

effective stacks $86.

Hadn't seen villain before. I am a regular player in the game. Only had a couple of hands on him, but he seemed to have slightly LAG PF stats.

I limp UTG with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Everyone else limps to the BB who pots to 7. I repot to 21. Only he calls. $46 pot.

Flop Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]-7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]-6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

He checks, I bet pot, he CRs AI, I call my last $20.

Although I feel that I played the hand OK, I think arguments could possibly be made for playing it very differently in a bunch of spots.

Thoughts?

Especially if they play in his games.

sorry guys, forgot about this thread. I called and was a huge dog to his hand, it was something like 9-8-7-5 with a flush draw. I hate getting my money in so bad (almost 70-30), but I feel like I played the hand correctly. And I think with the OESD in addition to the overpair it's an easy call of the flop raise getting those huge odds.

Since I'm a luckbox turn and river went blank-blank obv.

Well, you told him your hand preflop so he rightly is going to have a stab at it, I don't blame him for calling preflop, but he only has three quarters left post flop. So he got 25% in as a 40-60 dog but now knows 2 of the 4 cards in your hand. He needs to get the rest in as a 55-45 favourite to break even over all. I'm sure he can manage that. I expect him to show A7 of diamonds or some sort of flush draw to carry on here.
