Carbon Poker - Anybody Out there?

Signed up to Carbon poker yeterday to take advantage of an affiliate bonus offer and couldn't find one single game of Limit Holdem going other than a very breif 3/6 HU game.

Am I just logging on at bad times or is this a deserted site?

Almost no LHE runs there. It's a NL-only site.

Suppose it might be a good time for me to learn NL then! I mainly signed up for the MTTS anyway.

wait what? the software is pretty sweet imo, except for the all in button which I was told is being removed in the next upgrade. Its dead for ring games but not bad in terms of traffic for mtts. Does anyone know if theres any truth to the fact they will be adding a bunch of new skins to their network?

Customer service is crap? How so? I have, on repeated occasions, gotten reply e-mails from the Carbon/PokerCS people in under ten minutes. They seem to have some irritating bug at the moment with getting their software updates to work smoothly with Vista, but at least they're trying.

I admit to liking the site, though. Good peoples in my opinion. And no, I'm not a shill, despite my low 2+2 post count. Do some digging and you'll find I have significant "posts" elsewhere, but you can take that at face value, or not.

As for LHE, yeah, not much action there. And their software in other games, like 7-card stud, goes totally unused at the moment. I personally wish they had action in these other games because I would play them.

The fact that they have casino games makes them unable to accept epass. Not accepting epass is almost as good as not taking US players. This is a big reason for their low traffic.

Re: Carbon Poker - Anybody Out there?

Our network is constantly adding new skins we seem to have a constant stream of new skins coming on board so we are looking for some great growth in 2008.

Right now our ring game traffic isn't where we want it to be, but we are working at increasing that, we have had a lot of players come in recently looking for higher stakes action so hopefully those tables will start filling up. And then hopefully tables like 7 card stud and badugi will start getting some action.

And as for ePassporte, there is already a thread about that here: ePassporte post on 2+2

I don't think any statistical tracking software works at CarbonPoker, does it?

Is everybody there flying blind without PT and PAHUD?
