Why? Isn't there a good chance hero can just take this down with a cbet since hero was PF aggressor?

OP, do you have any reads on villain? If he is a calling station or usually passive I am checking the turn, since we don't have a whole lot of FE and villain will likely give us odds to call with our draw (that's if he bets at all).

Another thing - if I have a note that villain slow plays sets/straights even on drawy boards I would check turn since he will give us a free card and probably pay us off if we hit flush.

Against an unknown I think this is OK. We probably have alot of outs and decent FE.

That is horrible, what you are saying implies to when you have most likely the best hand but is volnurable, you do not want to win the pot right now in this situation at these stakes, you want to get your stack in on the flop with him.

I would have check raise the flop 50% of the time or play how you did but bet more on the flop 12-13 so your allin isnt an over bet on the turn.

Well I wouldn't have reraised with that on the flop, I just would have called and evaluate the flop. When raised I would have made it somewhat more preflop to 7,50, you want to take it down right now after all. As played preflop i would have checkraised all-in on the flop. As played with the call i would check/fold every day and night on the turn unless he bets really small.

[/ QUOTE ]We cannot fold the turn here for any amount. If we push all in knowing we get called we are still getting 2:1 and we are not always getting called. We have 7 outs to the nuts, 3 more that might was well be because it's really hard to put villain on KJ (and if he DOES have KJ, then we are ahead in the hand anyway), and 8 more that very well may be good. If we have all 19 outs we are less than a 2:1 dog here, if all of our flush and straight outs are good than we are just under a 2:1 dog.

In all fairness i have to say you are damn right . AhQh against a calling range of {88+, QJs, JTs, 76s) gives 3:8. Add some fold equity and yeah you are there...
