NL200 - 55 ip flopped OESD - help on all streets plz

Without getting into the minutia of raising pf versus not raising pf, what could I have done differently here? Is there any argument for checking behind on that turn? Bet a little smaller and fold to the shove? As played can we fold to the shove? Thanks guys.

Srsly, not one person has posted a response? Is it because I'm a n00b and only have 9 posts?

Your opinion doesn't help much when there is no reasoning behind it. His AF means he's probably cbetting a lot of flops with his whiffed overs. I don't see why we're not raising this flop. Are we waiting for the inevitable overcard and turn bet? Is it because we're 150 bb deep? I'm raising this flop to protect my hand, and because I'm going to be raising his cbets a fair amount. Turn I play the same. Ok, rip my reasoning apart.

what does the turn bet accomplish here? obv it protects your hand and charges if he has a 9 or flush draw. anyone like a check behind on turn? i guess turn bet is good if he is calling with overpairs?

When you're this deep you're going to want to practice pot control with a medium-strength hand on this flop. OESD is good, but flush draw definitely diminishes it. Call the flop, call the turn, rake in the dough if the board pairs on the river. Otherwise, call down any non-heart river (unless you were unlucky enough to run into set over set, but doesn't seem likely given this betting). The pot will be much more reasonable so his river bet will be easier to call with just a set on this scary board.

i like checking turn better then i like stacking turn.. but i do think this is a good bluff card for villain.

OP, your flop raise does not need to be that big.. combo draws(probably two overcard hearts also) are coming along anyways and a smaller raise isn't any less likely to fold out 6's or even 7's imo. now you've created this huge pot which becomes a bit of a clusterfrick.
