Who here plays at Crown in melbourne?
 

Hi,

Anyone here (im sure there are some) that play regularly or semi regularly at crown? What limits?
I occasionaly talk about 2p2 at the tables, to see if anyone else is a 2p2er, and i barely ever get a knowing look.

And by talk i dont mean "give away what and where"...dont worry your secret is safe, just using it as a way to identify any other potential 2p2ers.

I play at Crown about 3-4 times a week, mostly grinding $1-$2 NL and sometimes hitting $2-$3 NL.

hey Dan,

Im very much the same. Mainly grind out the 1/2 occasionaly play some 2/3. Im there as much as i can be, but across work its sometimes hard.
Normally there 3-4 times a week, and normally later at night, after 11pm.

How does anyone make money playing 1/2 there after rake? I mean you can make money, but it's hardly worth the effort.

made 1k not a week ago at 1/2. Took a whole...4 hours. I wasnt running neccesarily hot, but ive come out with numbers of 500-800 on a good ranged sample. Equally ive lost 200-300 per session, but the winnnings are typically greater.

The terrible players more then make up for the rake.

But i ve been playing for about half a year there.
So maybe im on a lucky 6 months streak.

I tend to play 5/10 Limit (mostly Fridays & weekends) & tournaments (occasionally during week, but again, mostly weekends).
Occasionally play 1/2 or 2/3 NL & liked the 2/4 PLO game a few weeks back on Tuesday.
Managed to win this Thursday's tourney too, so its been a good month! [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I will be there next month. Assuming they will have juicy games going during the Aussie Millions, what are the usual or highest NLHE games spread regularly night to night? 5/10, 10/20, 25/50?

Have they indicated what cash games? (NLHE, PLO) will be during the tournament and at what levels? Thanks and look forward to playing with you guys for a couple of weeks.

bdub, they will run whatever games there is interest for. During the vic champs and pokernews cup they had 5/10 - 25/50 and i think there was interest for bigger games

i've no doubt that i've played with some of you here, and i'm sure if you've played with me you'll remember me too.

If you want to play it, they will start a List - during the Millions!!! Saw 300 600 PLO Listed last Year!
