Well, yeah, but that's mostly my point. Sure, they looked great against a bad team. "How good will they look against a good team?" you ask. I dunno, maybe not that great, but it doesn't really matter. They will only be playing bad or mediocre teams for the rest of the season. If they only look good against bad teams, that's more than enough to look good for the rest of the season, clinch their division, and get a home playoff game. They'll be likely to be bumped out in either round one or two of the playoffs, but that's enough to still call it a good season.

You run the table against 8 other bad players like 81 others, leaving 648 runners behind. You get on a table with some good players and hope for luck/variance to get you through. Wind up in the final table with the top 1% and get crushed. |

wookie,
your optimism is inspiring, but lest you get too caught up and get your heart broken, i just wanted to let you know: the Seahakws are terrible. they could well win their division (if i have to pick ARI or SEA to win, i think i'd take the road trip up US-95 instead) but there is no team they can beat in the playoffs. and while the rest of the schedule is not particularly difficult, the Rams and Eagles are probably better than their records and i would pick either of those teams to beat the 'hawks in the upcoming weeks. |

I had a 3 month break from online game, started playing again on the 1st Sept. 25/50, 50/1 and a bit of 1/2 - doing very nicely thanks. Been playing live but was recently accused of cheating in a donkament by someone who had seen me doing card tricks elsewhere so I've gone off somewhat. |

My goodness, little did I realise that there're so many bots playing on UB micros! I was playing on 0.02/0.04, and looked at the HUD. 4 of them had stats almost exactly the same: 26.7/22.0/2.29,2.05,2.0. And I also had the most no. of hands recorded about them.
