That's hilarious.

I remember when my friend and I used to play Madden 2000 for the N64 all the time. We liked to hit each other after the play. Sometimes the ref would say, "Personal foul, late hit." Other times he would say, "Personal foul, he's giving him the business."

Haha. Anyone else recall this?

The sad part about the new call was that it was just holding, and I'm not sure if it was "down there". I do love how the crowd just goes nuts, like everybody is just happy about it. Totally fantastic.

No. The announcers said that. I guess they assumed an offensive penalty in that area must be holding. Look at the first shot of the referee. He gives the personal foul signal, not holding. He repeats the signal when he makes the comment.

You can see part of the foul. Left guard pulls and blocks/falls on a DB and then punches him.

That ref is awesome. IIRC he called the UF-FSU game last year and we rooted for penalties just to hear him make the calls
