Can someone explain to me how Accenture Match Play scoring works?

There seems like so many ways to score. For example, what do these things mean:

6 and 5
19 holes
1up

Thanks in advance.

To understand this better, in match play, the score as such is not given. If Player A has won five holes and Player B has won 3, rather than saying Player A is leading 5-3, Player A is said to be 2 up (ahead by two holes).

How to read scores at the end of a match:

6 & 5 - winner was leading by six holes with only five to play. The match is stopped whenever the loser can no longer tie the match (i.e. has fewer holes remaining than the deficit).

19 holes - match was tied after 18 holes, and went to extra holes. Winner won the match on the first playoff hole (the 19th).

1 up - winner was leading by one hole at the end of 18 holes played.

Heads up, you get a point for winning a hole, no matter by how much.

6 and 5:: Winner was ahead by 6 points/holes with 5 holes to go. Match ended because no way for the other guy to catch up.

19 holes:: Tied after 18 holes. Won on first extra hole.

1 up:: Finished ahead by one hole. Either came to 18th ahead by 1 and tied the hole or came tied and won the hole.
