first time in vegas (today)...need 0help

Hey folks. I am an attorney from southern indiana. I play some at my local riverboat. In vegas for the first time. Sitting at a 1/2nl table at the Venitian. Posting from my blackberry. Staying at the Luxor. Played there last night. not interested in playing there again.

I may need to go back to the hotel here in a bit. Is there anywhere good to play on that end of the strip? Or should I cab it somewhere else. Enjoying the Venitian (helped bt being up 400) but may like to try something different.

Also any dining suggestions would be appreciated.

Here tomorrow as well. Back to Indiana Sun.

unless you're walking across the street take a cab to go anywhere on the strip. everything appears to be closer than it actually is. even the walk from paris to ceasars isn't that short.

F That, take the monorail for 5 bucks from Harrahs (next door to Venetian) or pay the 10 for 24 hours unlimited, or whatever it is. Then head down to MGM or Monte Carlo, PH, Ballys, ect..

How about Excalibur or MGM. Cab or monorail to Venetian.

Flamingo, Bally's.

This is why I don't stay at Luxor too hard to get up north.

Dining suggestions: "note your in my house here"

cheap/simple - Venetian has great food court, not fast food either, with reasonable prices also Denny's just south, Outback, sit at bar no line always fun to walk by 30 people in line bit expensive but good.

Buffets at TI Wynn Harrahs Mirage.
