Misdeal or Not?

Just wondering if they butchered this call or not. Late in a tournament last night, I pick up TT UTG, I raise it up. UTG+1 just sits there for a few seconds looking dumbfounded, then tells the dealer he only has one card. The table cries misdeal but the dealer says wait, there has been action. Floor is called, and floor rules that since there has only been action by one person it is misdeal and states if there had been action by two or more the hand would stand, LOL... (I think if I had been one of the older regulars, in that spot it could have gone the other way, but whatever) I just wanted to hear a second opinion..

Misdeal.

Substantial action requires action by more than one player. Floor was absolutely correct. No substantial action here, so it's a misdeal.

You should be glad you didn't have to play TT UTG anyway, move on.

You have no idea how weak-tight the table was, I was more than willing to get it in the middle against any of the short stacks and I was big enough to pose a threat to the bigger stacks, so I was a little bummed but whatever.

Like I said I didn't feel horribly wronged or anything, just wanted a 2nd opinion.

Not sure what's so funny. Floor is 100% right.

I have no problem with that decision. Significant action is two or more players acting on their hand, which had not occurred yet.
