A decision for all my chips NL50

Villain is playing 54/8/5 over 70 hands. He would take a stab at any pot when checked to, so that is why I decided to go for a check-raise. No other reads to mention apart from that.

This is a fairly easy call for me.

True, we should consider he has a set, but he might be on a FD (his total AF is 5 so he can make these kinds of plays).
He donkbetted the flop after you check, so I would snapcall.

snap call.

a lagtard reraises all-in on a wet flop - he has a draw, a set or a worse OP than you do - call here all day.

What range do you put people on who limp/call PF? PPs, SCs, with VPIP of 54, lots of suited hands, lots of unsooted connectors, etc.

Based on flop texture and his bet, obviously he can have sets, TP, maybe JJ, lots of flush draws, lots of combo draws. QQ, KK are unlikely with PF. Axhh is out since you have Ah. Put him on a range of hands, pokerstove it and call if you are good enough against that range to call taking into account the dead money in the pot.

OP has Ah. People often donk bet sets real small hoping to get raised so they can 3bet all-in, but I just realized this isn't a donk if OP has already checked.

Yeah, I guess this is a standard call against an aggressive fish. I called and he had 22 LDO.

"donks small, 3bai w/set on flop"

Time for a note.

edit: well played, btw.
