QQ hand

opponent is 18/8/7 over 61 hands.
Can't really fold flop? not turn either. Maybe river?

Re: QQ hand

His bets make it look like he had a draw that missed (something like AcKx) and now bets more as a bluff.

Obviously some villians will take this line with a hand like AcAx or AcKc, that's the hard part of the hand.

I'm running some numbers on pokerstove and I realize that on flop we are most likely either flipping a coin or way behind . So i dont know if i like a raise. And the problem about going on the call mode, is that we dont charge worse hands and are going dead against better hands.

Oh well, i dont know what to do on this hand.

As played i think you gotta call river.

Re: QQ hand

i play the same and fold river vs this guy. The turn bet is wierd, but you can't really make assumptions that he is on a draw from that as he is reasonably unknown, but seems tight so we have to give him credit for KK+ here

I play it the same but I don't really like it. Maybe not folding river is a leak but JJ and AK are certainly a part of his range.
Out of curiosity what did he have?

i think this is v. close actually, im thinking the river might be a call given odds

Re: QQ hand

AA he had, no club.

Re: QQ hand

hm, given his aggressivness, i think the calling line is fine, but i fold the river anyway

Re: QQ hand

I don't really think the agg stats are relevent though over 61 hands.

fold river, raise flop

Raising flop sux.

I would raise turn to $80 and not put more money in.
If he has AA/KK he will often push and we can fold and save $100. If he calls, he will prob check river and we can check behind.
