Girlfriend has HPV (warts?)
 

Oot,

My girlfriend got a call from her doctor yesterday saying that the results of her pap smear revealed that she had traces of HPV.

She was not sexually active at all before I met her, and she did not test positive for her last pap smear (about 8 months ago, we have been dating for 6 months.)

I suppose that this means that I also have HPV? To further worsen things she got mad at me last night when I refused to go downtown on her because the thought of HPV in my mouth grossed me out.

I guess my question is whether any of you guys have had HPV? Is it a big deal/ little deal/ no deal at all? How did you guys handle it with your significant other, etc??

It's really not a big deal at all -- there are tons of people who have it and don't even know it. Feel free to chomp away.

Seriously, I think that more than 50% of women have some strain of HPV. The only problem for a man is that you might then pass it on to another woman.

BTW, if it's true that she was not sexually active before meeting you, then you gave it to her.

I think a quick google image search of HPV may dissuade you from your chomping proclivities

Can men get tested for HPV? If so, get tested and if results come back negative the bitch cheated on you!

I thought like 80% of people would eventually get this?

Doesn't seem like a big deal at all, I think HPV is the new egg yolk. think about it.
