4 handed 75, sb is crazy mike, bb is DD. we are all basically playing the way we normally play with nothing special happening.

flop A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
check, dd bets, i call, fold

turn: 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
dd bets, i tell him im in the process of making a bad calldown and call.

river: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
dd checks, i check

1. you shouldnt talk during hands. in every case ive seen you do this you clarify for your opponents where youre at more than you confuse them.

2. you should bet the river and let dd call you with all sorts of worse hands. if he raises you can make a thin call and lose only a little EV. unfortunately the mistake of talking on the turn may have messed this otherwise great river line up.

Bump because as soon as you said that on the turn I was sad that my 88 was going to lose to some trashy 9x hand unless I hit a spade. Btw I would never check a hand that beats yours on this river.

Oh I played that QQ hand on the Ace high board terribly, you table talked yourself into an obvious Ax and I didn't want to believe it. I really didn't play well that session luckily I seat select good and run good.

I bet on river, but I think it is close. He should never be checking TT+ so I wouldnt expect him to pay off with very much that you beat. Pstove should make this hand pretty easy, but I suck at it.

I don't think folding is ever an option here and its too early to raise with any hand that needs to pump money in the pot...
