Apart from the various troll posters like pineapple it was fine imo.

And like I said, in the msnl ft thread there have been numerous db shots posted, and the sky didn't fall.

Agree with this. The regs threads were fun and I'd like to see them back. No biggie if it doesn't happen though.

Without the regs threads, how are people going to keep up to date on the battles between bert and I?

Thx Friday:
3X KK<AA, 2X QQ<AA, AK<AA, AK<KK all for stacks no opposite of these in 3500 hands. Also I had a stretch where my KK was stacked 4 times out of 8 dealt.
gg me
Brag: I only lost $660.
(KK made me -$800)

though it keeps pausing to reload, im really liking carrotsnake's video. he speaks clearly and explains a ton. big fan of this. and the face that he called someone's call "disconcerting" was pretty amusing.

We are working on getting the videos to run more smoothly, we don't expect it will be an issue in the near future.

Edit: if anyone has any issues you can send any of us a PM or contact us through LeggoPoker

Run their course, flaming, datamines being posted, etc. The mods seem open to reinstating them though.

Datamines aren't allowed? Why not?

blackize 11-17-2007 07:31 AM

Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: NOV Pt 2 (nc)

I don't think it's that they're disallowed, just that one or more of the mods thought having that sort of thing posted wasn't for the best and in combination with the other factors mentioned swayed their decision to lock the threads.

Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: NOV Pt 2 (nc)

I don't get what makes the regs threads appropriate for MSNL but not SSNL?

People who think they're circle jerks can just avoid them, but for mine they were just places where people who played in the same games could talk with each other. I followed the Party thread for a while then the FTP thread, and no feathers were ever rustled in either. I never saw anyone outed involuntarily or anything like that, they were just a bit of fun. They also gave people a venue to discuss site specific issues when they arose. It just strikes me as weird to ban them.
