Re: Stars Conclusion
Well if this thread is going to exist at least have the message Stars gave in that thread. Here it is.
The investigation into the WCOOP Main Event has now been concluded. We have determined, based on the totality of evidence, that the tournament winner “TheV0id” was in breach of the PokerStars Terms of Service. In the interests of Game Integrity, “TheV0id” has been disqualified from first place. All other WCOOP Main Event prizewinners in addition to the player who originally bubbled in 415th place will therefore advance one place in the prize pool. The necessary financial adjustments to reflect the revised tournament places will be made within the next 24 hours. Please note that we are unable to release further details of this investigation, for reasons of confidentiality and privacy. Stephen W. Manager, PokerStars Game Security |

Re: Stars Conclusion
I wonder can he fight this or is Stars ruling final. Is it possible to bring this to court?

I wonder can he fight this or is Stars ruling final. Is it possible to bring this to court? [/ QUOTE ] This is exactly what I was asking myself. Being stars reluctant to disclose how they reach the final decision there is plenty of room for him to appeal. I personally would like to know how they found the evidence to avoid being in tricky situation having my wife playing on PS too and due to my travelling playing sometimes from the same IP and sometimes from even different countries. |
Re: Stars Conclusion
take this to court rofl you guys have no clue whatsoever
|
Re: Stars Conclusion
Wow, Stars has guts to uphold the integrity of the game.

take this to court rofl you guys have no clue whatsoever [/ QUOTE ] I am not defending the cheat! But I think anyone deserves to know the reasons behind that as a matter of clarity. |

[/ QUOTE ] You do realise that cheating at internet poker is now a criminal offence in the UK? Do you really think the genuine (if rumours are to be believed) account holder, who probably didn't know that PS existed until a couple of weeks ago, is going to make an issue over this? How would the conversation go: Hi sis, I wonder if you could do me a favour. Bit of a downside risk for you in the way of public humiliation, massive legal costs and possible criminal record, but don't worry, none of that will happen.....and the upside for me is pretty good. |

Oh my god I wish I was ka$ino right now. I wonder how happy he's going to be when he finds this out.

Re: Stars Conclusion
It looks like he originally posted it in the zoo and a mod moved it here where there is obviously already a thread about it.

Re: Stars Conclusion
Next time I see P2K sitting alone I'm gonna sit down and say hahahahahah
|
Re: Stars Conclusion
Wow this is pretty sick.
|
Re: Stars Conclusion
So if everyone was bumped only one place then I guess that means that only one of this guy's accounts made the money...and that the other alleged collusive stuff that some suspected must not have been proven.
|
Re: Stars Conclusion
Silly technical question, I am sure this is not an issue, but - when setting up a wireless network, the router has an IP address that all computers talk to. Which IP address does PS read? Is there a chance that two computers on one wireless networks can be viewed as the same IP address which is actually the router?
No need to blast me, I am not a tech dummy but not exactly sure how this works. |
Re: Stars Conclusion
Kinda OT but this AP Superuser's tourney on PXF
Its hilariously obvious he can see all cards. Watch it, its shocking |

Nobody else needs to know because it's private. You'd be pretty pissed if Stars investigated you and then spewed the details all over the Internets. |
Re: Stars Conclusion
its gonna be weird for him to explain this to everyone.

Next time I see P2K sitting alone I'm gonna sit down and say hahahahahah [/ QUOTE ] Was it actually P2K? From what I've read the guy who plays P2K is different from the owner of the account (and tourney cheater). |

Re: Stars Conclusion
Wow...
From what I understand, he is considered to be "cheating" by having his sister also play the account suring the event... Is this true? Seems like a really [censored] way to lose so much cash. How much was it anyway? (sorry to ask for a rehash, but just heard about this and the other thread has way to many replies to sift through) |
Re: Stars Conclusion
little over a million i think.
