2 folds, Hero raises to $3, SB raises to $10, BB folds, Hero calls $7

Flop: ($21) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $9, Hero calls $9

Villain is 39/13 over 125 hands and there has been some 3betting between us prior to this hand. This hand is from a few weeks ago, just saw it again in my PT, and I'm wondering about optimal play on all streets. I'll post the turn and action pending pf and flop discussion.

easy raise (big) and call, hell so often have some mid jacks, queens or kings with that kind of bet - which he will fold - (aces also though) and even if he does happen to have ak or aq, ur about a coinflip.

ike you're one of my favorite posters... we are 130 bb deep here, do you think a push is the best option?

being deep is better with a combo draw, allows you to put more pressure on your opponent

that's true to a certain extent, there is certainly a sweet spot however, and the best part of a combo draw lies in the ability to maximize FE. Raising to $27 seems like a viable line, I suppose I was confident in my ability to extract value past the flop and decided to use my position the rest of the hand. Overall though, I do think I should have raised, esp. given how small his bet was... could easily be a scared pp who hates the ace, but who also will win in a showdown vs my pair.

Assume you just call the flop because you don't know how to play poker. Turn is the 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Pot is 38 dollars roughly. Villain bets 15. You have roughly 120ish or so left. What is the best line.

raise flop big for sure.

You're a slight favorite over KK-JJ with no diamonds and just slight dog to those pairs with diamond. Same scenario for big slick.

So you're only concerned about AA. You want to jam flop because he almost always has better hand you're hoping to make him fold. If money goes in, thats fine too.
