Definately call and spike.

I'm not at all sure we should have led the turn though...

Re: JJ against turn raise

yup, hard to forget when ure on turn and u improved pocket pair with a draw u should check instaed of betting since a lot of cards can help u now,if u dont improve then u only have 2 outs, then u bet fold since u have almost no outs to improve and win..
always forget those as well:(
unless u think he might fold or u bet for value since is a calling station of course...

not a lot of cards can help you.. only a gut shot.. but you have to call because of the pot odds..

what if hero just check the turn, then what would he do facing a bet?.. fold right?

Am I the only one not capping preflop or leading the flop? I'm getting rusty...

betting the turn is spew. We just got called in 3 places on a rainbow flop and this card just completed some straights and bigger pairs.

edit: OK, one straight--for JT

Your hand has a decent edge against a likely loose coldcaller and laggy 3 bettor.

Check turn.

Look at the read on button again.

Against some opponents I would not lead turn but not given CO's likely suckitude and button's lagginess.

Absolutely not. Hero would have almost enough to call on the gutshot alone, and the implied odds plus the possibility that the two remaining J's are still good for him make it an easy peel.
