NL25 - JJ overpair on the flop

No reads on villain. My hand could be good if his range is QQ+, AK, but if we get all-in here I am most likely beaten. So I am not commited. A raise would turn my hand into a bluff I guess. But if I call down to the river that could cost me my stack.
Is folding on this flop considered too tight? Or call this small bet and fold on turn if he fires again?

Btw is it likely that villain's range is looser than that? AQ,TT or other things? He basically just minraised me PF.

Thanks for the replies!

I like to bet /fold here, maybe 6$. Villain loves to slowplay aces and sets here.

Does villian have AK often enough to make calling correct here?

If we call this bet, are we calling for $5.00 on the turn?

I think TheBad is right. Make it ~$6.00 on the flop and fold if he bets the turn/flop.

After we re-pop him on the flop, do we call or fold to a flop shove? I think I might shove w/ AK here if I were villian. I know I'd shove w/ AA/KK...

Fold to shove until villain stats say otherwise.

Flat call. Fold to half pot or larger on turn. If he checks turn, check back and call a river bet.

What is the plan if turn is a Queen, a King or an Ace ? On the river ?

Re: NL25 - JJ overpair on the flop

Raising to $6 is +EV if villain has AK here more than 46%(6/13.1 right?) of the time(Assuming that he folds AK to a raise and we shutdown if called). That's quite close I think as there are 16 combination of AK and 18 of overpairs. Another thing is that I don't think he reraises AK and then makes a cbet 100% of the time. So fold and raise to $6 are close?
If I call then there are a few overcards to worry about later but if there is at least ~34%(2.5/(9.6*0.76)?) chance that villain has AK here and then villain doesn't make a big bet on the turn calling could be +EV. Thoughts?

I fold to any bet (unless it's really really cheap) with Ace or King on board. Queen, I still don't call much. If the turn goes check/check, call a half pot on river with a Queen on board.

I'm not telling you it's gonna be fun to play this hand, because it won't. But I can't see laying down overpair Jacks on the flop to a half pot when we have no clue what his range could be.

You have an SPR of 4-5 on this hand. If you call, you are getting close to being commited. Raise on the flop will commit your stack here. With no reads, I am not that happy to commit. Against a donkey its an easy push.

But that's just it. We can raise to $6.00 and still not be committed. Our "commitment plan" is to raise to $6.00 and fold to further action.
