Thinnish River VB vs Solid Reg
Villain is a 26/22 solid regular. We have both been doing a lot of 3-betting so far this session. We both have been calling pretty light in position.
$1500 Eff Stacks 5/10NL (6-handed) Pre-flop: Hero is CO w/ J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Folds to hero who opens for $35, SB raises to $125, Hero calls $90 Flop ($260): 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB checks, Hero bets $205, Villain calls $205 Turn ($670): K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB checks, Hero checks River ($670): A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB checks, Hero bets $425... Comments on all streets appreciated. If you like the river, would you do the same w/ TT? |

No value here.

Re: Thinnish River VB vs Solid Reg
Don't like this one either. These moves are better with non showdown hands. TT is no different than JJ in this situation.

Re: Thinnish River VB vs Solid Reg
Maybe a bluff to fold out queens..

Re: Thinnish River VB vs Solid Reg
I don't like it. The only reason might be to fold out Queens.
I could see him having exactly Queens or AQish if he knows you are tricky enough to call a 3-bet with a made hand AA/KK in order to shove over his flop c -bet. |
Re: Thinnish River VB vs Solid Reg
check the river
plz all that calls you beats you and otherwise your good at showdown so just check |
