Foxwoods 1-2 hand deep

No relevant hands or reads on villain; somewhat loose aggro in smaller pots but haven't seen him play any big ones yet.

He starts hand with around 550 and I cover.

I raise to 15 from the CO with J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], button calls, BB calls, 1
limper calls.

Flop comes K J 10 with 2 diamonds, checked to me I bet 45, button goes all-in for less (38 or so), BB raises to 145.

What's the Plan here??

Post turn action soon.

call and jam any turn thats not an ace or a 9?

I think you'll lose most of the weaker end of his range to a flop 3bet given the nature of the board and just end up getting shoved on by AQ/Q9

maybe call if you boat up and he's still betting

I would raise if we boat and it's not a diamond, call if it is a diamond.

I mean on turn. I like nazahl's ideas on the flop.

Nazhals advice seems good considering you guys are 250bb's +.

I would advise you to cross post this in the FR forum, since you will probably get better/more responses, traditionally live hands get very lil response in a shorthanded forum

I decided to call and wait to see what he did on the turn.

Turn 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

He quickly bets all in for 365...

not even close?

There's about 380 in the pot so I'm getting just over 2-1 here, with at least 10 outs and possibly up to 18 or so if my jack high flush is good.

4-bet the flop. WTF, so what that we're deep. This is live, lol, he's not folding any diamond draw or AK/KJ/J9/KQ/etc. And villain never has KK here, which is the only hand you *really* don't want to see.

Re: Foxwoods 1-2 hand deep

Actually, you don't have at least 10 outs. You have 10 outs vs. a straight or flush. A straight has a very decent chance of having a bigger diamond as well.

Bilbo seems to be the only one making sense in this thread.

I have a set. I am likely ahead of BB. I am never folding this hand on this flop. Waiting to see a turn card to see if I need to fold is just awful here and not an option.

And as mentioned this is live. I don't bring this up because they are monkeys (thoough many are) but rather this game probably plays bigger then your average online game. Thus what appears to be a 250BB game is actually more like a 125-150BB game. Now look at the hand again...

i know that live players suck...but does anyone think that the Villain shouldn't be on a draw, since the pot is protected (by the other Villain who is all-in?)
