Cap PF if UTG+1 is capable of folding - getting dead money in the pot + position would be huge.

I bet the river all the time. Flop is draw-heavy, so he could look you up with A-high.

i like calling PF so I can raise flop like this and get UTG to fold AJ

Pretty easy river bet. AK never folds, so charge them.

Re: 99 awkward river

i check. i think his range is something like KK-99,AJs+,AQo+. he didn't have to reraise immediately with big pocket pairs planning to raise the turn until the 4 came, but just in case, i discounted AA. even if he calls with all of this range, you are a 62:38 underdog. you can tweak the range some more but i doubt you have a valuebet here.

EDIT: ok, i discounted the pp's even more down to JJ-99. you are still an 54:44 underdog. and don't forget he might have been trying to slowplay a set (unlikely though it may be based on pf) and decided to just call down once the scare card came. also he doesn't have to call with AJ or even AK, which makes us even more of an underdog against the range of hands he calls with.

I bet this all day.

Preflop is a little interesting. I like a call against unknowns. If you had reads/stats I would cap against alot of people. Basically I think both cap and call are fine.

River card isnt as bad as an ace or king hitting...I think you can bet this pretty often against most villains as the queen doesnt hit his range in as many ways.

Bet. If you were ahead on turn, the only thing you are losing to is KQ and AQ. Is this bad logic?

FWIW next time river a 7.

Nina isn't worried about being ahead a lot. I think it's a bet, but close. If AK pays off, he's atrocious.

I reread my post and it seems contradictory. Maybe it's a check. He 3-bet from the SB; if he calls with a hand worse than 99 here that's just pretty lol.
