that's a beer right? 4/5, you lose a half point for ketchup and half point for what looks like a butter knife

I dont think del monte ketchup has any HFCS. It's like the only one.

Last time I checked the label of del monte it did. Heinz organic ketchup doesn't.

Ketchup is a nasty condiment with meat anyways. Destroys the flavor imo.

Use soy sauce with pork. Or dijon.

H&F, what are your best guesses for # of g of carbs from the broccoli? I am bad with the vegetables and guesstimate that at like at 20-25. what does you guys think

I'm gonna go with 11g.

I guesstimated with fitday help.

I also agree with the pork and soy comment.

thremp,
pork is a fine source of protein and a nice change of pace from what most people eat, although ketchup is lame...

the broccoli is maybe 10g of carbs, but some of that is gonna be fiber...

I know. I eat pork. Probably too much. But I eat too much meat in general so I don't really care.

Re: Rate my Dinner (PIC)

grate an apple on top of pork, remove ketchup, profit.

Re: Rate my Dinner (PIC)

That's a big ass amount of very dense protein. Good thing you have a bunch of fibrous veggies. If you're going to eat that much tough meat, I'd definitely keep the fiber real high or even higher than what you've got, and be sure to drink enough water throughout that day and the next day. That much pork could turn into a rectum splitter.

lol...i probably should put more thought into this before i eat certain things.

As for the ketchup, i am not sure why everyone is hatin so hard on it. I mean I'm not really going for a high class meal here. I live alone, i don't really have to impress anyone with my Dijon mustard. I can understand a half point style deduction though.

I thought we were giving points for nutrition, not style.

Re: Rate my Dinner (PIC)

Dijon is much better nutrition wise than ketchup. Plus it tastes better with pork.

FlyWf 12-01-2007 05:26 PM

Re: Rate my Dinner (PIC)

The better play is to say that it's barbecue sauce or something and it's some weird trick of the lighting to make it look like ketchup. Do not admit to putting ketchup on things that aren't french fries.

POKEROMGLOL 12-01-2007 07:08 PM

Re: Rate my Dinner (PIC)

pork is pretty ketchup accepting imo.

obv i am not putting ketchup on steaks. as for barbecue sauce, i have had a whole lot of it lately and was tired of it.
no ketchup on hamburgers?

if the ketchup was a deduction for health, then i can accept that.
