From the Pats/Rams Super Bowl, with NE holding the ball in a tie game with little time remaining:

"New England should just run out the clock here and take the game to overtime."

Um, Madden would have lost the game as the Rams were almost sure to score if they got the ball back. Losing the coin flip means that NE doesn't see the ball again until September. Now I know why he doesn't coach any more.
