I'm posting this here since this seems to be the easiest forum to get a response from Matt S. as he was the TD.

Was this tournament only open to black players? or were there other races as well?

It was called Black Poker Superstars, so I'd imagine they were going for a certain demographic there.

I would love to see a White Poker Superstar Tournament and see what kind of racist backlash that gets! I guess you can only be racist if you are white. How 'bout we now add White only Award shows to counterbalance the BET and Ebony and NAACP Awards?

Am I alone here or does anyone else find this a little racist? A Poker Tournament for African Americans? C'mon now, next we'll have a Jewish poker tournament for Matasow, Fishman, Elezra, Mizrahi and me!
