AQ in MP played passively

Sorry about raw HH. FTR doesn't understand the hand history (it claims it's 0 handed).

Reads: cswitte plays a lot but unfortunately I haven't picked up too much on him. Isn't out of line. diesel01 is loose-passive. Calls a lot of raises preflop/pre-4th.

I guess this is a very basic hand, missing the flop with AQ. Unfortunately, I don't know what to do here in LHE. Should I always cbet the flop? Is folding turn ok? I just felt like I had so much reverse implied odds that I better just fold it.

On that board the c-bet is pretty standard. You're more likely to be ahead than you think.

Generally, whether or not you c-bet is it depends. On one extreme end, there's a real dry flop against just the big blind where you always c-bet. Oh the other end is 987 flop with a flush draw against 6 opponents. It's completely dependent on how many opponents you have and the board texture. There is no standard, really. Personally, if I'm not sure what to do I just bet.

This flop you really need to bet. You are ahead of most hands still, and if one of these guys folds, especially the guy left to act, that's really good for you.

yes. you often have the best hand, so the bet is for value. checking it is begging to have the pot stolen.
