Costa Cruise Ship... NLHE?

I am going on a cruise to the Greek Isles this summer (cruise company is costa) and it leaves from Venice. I know they have a casino because it says so on the site. I tried to call them to see if the age was 18 and if they had NLHE and the lady was not sure.

Does anyone know if they have NLHE on Costa or just cruise ships in general and if the age is 18?
Anything will help. thanks

If they spread poker it's usually limit hold'em, one table. The one I'm traveling with now don't have it, but it's a small cruise ship with mostly oldies (not even an Omaha8-table LOL). When I went on a Bahamas cruise with on a big ship (2000+) they had one limit-table 5/10 I think it was, guess that is what you can hope for, at the best.

Have a nice cruise!

Costa is owned by Carnival, so if they had HE, it would probably be listed on this page:

Ocean Players Club

Since it's not, I would either expect no poker at all, or one table, like the other guy said. They usually rake 10% up to $6 on Carnival owned lines. Play is horrific.

Royal Caribbean has some poker on their ships (they also own Celebrity). But sometimes it's played on a BJ table with seven players max. Also, I have heard of rakes of 10% up to $20 !!!

Norwegian spreads poker and the last I talked to them, they had a relatively reasonable rake (compared to RCL, that is). 3/6 was raked at 10% up to $5. 4/8 and above was 10% up to $10. They are the only line that really offers comps for players, though, so it might be worth it (drinks, free cruises, on-board credit, etc).

Good luck!
