Stoxpoker website down?

www.stoxpoker has been unreachable to me for at least 20 hours or so. I came here to see if there are any announcements or complaints about it, but to my surprise, I find no mention of it anywhere.

Is the site down? Seems like my ISP's DNS server doesn't know there even is "www.stoxpoker.com". Everything worked fine about a day or so ago.

It wasn't working yesterday for awhile, and there was a thread about it here. It's worked fine for me all day today and is working right now.

There was a problem our web host had for a few hours yesterday. But that was resolved about 20 hrs ago.

No problems since.

Ok seems like I'll have to contact my ISP about it if it doesn't start to work soon. I still just get "internet explorer cannot display the webpage"

I don't know a ton about this stuff, but maybe if you clear your cashe it might reset and work? carry-on if this is a silly suggestion...

Re: Stoxpoker website down?

Thanks for the advice but I had already tried it.

I phoned my ISP's support and the problem is indeed in their DNS server. They gave me an ip address of the site which can be used until the problem is solved.

If there's someone else that can't access the site, use the address http://217.10.156.199

edit: LOL except none of the links in the site work anyway (obviously) and there's no way to get DRM authentication for downloaded videos. Guess I just have to forget about it for a bit and try it out again later.

Go to c:/Windows/System32/Drivers/etc and open up the hosts file. Put in 217.10.156.199 below the last line followed by a few spaces then www.stoxpoker.com

Should sort out your problem.

Yes thank you that worked for authenticating videos.

Now if I only knew the ip of drm.stoxpoker.com, I could add that there too. Then everything relevant would work.
