NBA 2007-08 Week 2 Thread (11/5 - 11/11)
 

Starting a new general thread for this week's NBA betting.

Last week was terrible for me, so there's plenty room to improve. I'm going to focus on finding a few really good bets this week instead of making a lot of bets like I did last week. I don't feel as confident on NBA picks as I do on football. If any of you guys with more NBA experience feel like posting some analysis or insights, I think a lot of us would appreciate it.

Only one game tonight, Houston @ Dallas. Should be a great game, but I'm going to pass on betting it for now.

Pretty much my sentiments exactly. Did pretty good in the NFL and not bad in college ball, but [censored] the NBA! terrible week with it and hoping to get some of it back this week.

Why are you avoiding the Dallas game? I think Dallas by 6 is a decent line.

This doesn't relate to today's game, but watching the Celtics/Raptors game last night suggests the Celtics will try to slow down uptempo teams and set up half-court sets for their three-headed monsters rather than expect them to run. The public likes the Celtics and I see the public hitting the overs when they play. So my suggestion is to take the under the next time the Celtics play an uptempo offense.
