that really sucks dude. I dont have anywhere near that cash and I couldnt bear losing it to hackers. Get a ton of high stakes regs to email support and tell them to figure it out maybe they ll care more!
i feel your pain and hope you get your cash back

That's gotta be terrible dude, poker is a tough enough game as it is. When your money gets stolen it about as fun as a kick in the balls.

Re: Stars account hacked

Sorry loco,

it really sucks. =(

imo the only logical explanation with the email change is that the hacker fooled a stars supporter and the supporter changed it. Would make perfect sense. Any other explanations wouldn't fit. Maybe they've seen that it's their own fault but don't admit.

Are you a regular Stars player or not? If not, I could imagine that they don't want to pay for their fault because they think you play at another site so they don't see any value.

Besides, if Stars didn't cause the problem, it's very tough for them to believe you got hacked. Would be too abusable.

Did you already consider to contact one of the gaming commissions where Stars is in? Maybe they can get you the information you want to have.

Anyways, I wish you good luck in this case!

Re: Stars account hacked

Would the following scenario be possible ? :

- Hacker knows your screenname
- Hacker hacks your mailaccount which is regged with stars
- Hacker tries to login to stars, selects "i forgot my password", and enters your hacked mailadress. Note: This only works if the hacker knows your ZIP-Code (which is easy to get), and your Street-Address, which is not so easy....
- Hacker gets sent a new PW to your mailadress (which he has access to)
- Hacker logs into stars, and changes your email-adress
- Hacker steals ur moneys

Would it be possible that this was done by somebody who knows you (at least knows you good enough to know your street address) ?
