FTP checks are not coming on time -- Why?
 

Again i would like to address Full Tilt here on there check sending policy. This is now the third time for me where my check has not come in a timely fashion. First time they said it was sent but it never came after a long wait and many e mails they said it was never sent because they got a new check distributor. I amnot sure if this is the case again but i hope that they are honest i would appreciate that a lot more. I will give them there 15 days but that sounds like a ridiculous amount of time.
No the sky is not falling but this is not a good practice by them. I hope I am wrong and the checks are sent out but when this many people (over 20) that have said they have waited over 15 days it is not a good sign.
LET'S GET OUR ACT TOGETHER THERE. Checks and cashing out is one of the most important things a site offers. If this continues this leaves us with just pokerstars.
FTP DOUG FTP SEAN anything you can tell us will definitely be helpful. This is not the first time this has happened.

When I request a check, I get it within 7 days of when I put in the request.

It then clears instantly at my bank.

I've got nothing but great things to say about FTP withdrawals by check so far.

My checks are very inconsistent. either they come in 3 or 4days or don't come at all. I still think there might now be a processor issue.

this was my line also....until this past one which has now doubled my usual wait time.

Here is why:

By playing online poker you are participating in an endavour that the FBI and the current US administration consider illegal. The FBI has recently said that ANYONE playing online poker in the US is committing a crime. The sites still operating in the US are under extreme and intense pressure by the Republican justice dept. In this environment it shouldn't be suprising that there is difficulty in transferring money back and forth. There will only be more check delays and confusion from all sites unless the US situation is resolved favorably for online poker players. At least we can still play at a few sites in the US, but who knows for how long unless this situation is resolved.

Can the people in this thread who have said that they recently received checks from FTP please give more details (ie, dates and delivery method) for their check withdrawals?
